About Us
Our Approach
At Green Pastures Kiddies, we understand that children do not experience challenges in isolation. Poverty, food insecurity, unstable housing, poor health and disrupted education are deeply interconnected and must be addressed as such.
A systems-based approach to child development guides our work. We recognise that children do not experience challenges in isolation. Poverty, food insecurity, unstable housing, poor health and disrupted education are deeply interconnected and must be addressed as such.
Our programmes are designed to respond to multiple, overlapping risks, including childhood malnutrition, which affect educational attainment, health outcomes, and overall well-being for children living in poverty. Rather than positioning nutrition as a standalone issue, GPK adopts nutrition-sensitive strategies across all areas of work, ensuring interventions are effective, sustainable and grounded in the lived realities of the communities we serve.
Rather than positioning nutrition as a standalone issue, GPK adopts nutrition-sensitive strategies across all areas of work. This ensures that education support, health access and family stabilisation efforts are more effective, sustainable and grounded in the lived realities of the communities we serve.
